PREPARATION
FEEDBACK
MASTER / SIX-MONTH HORIZON
Work toward measurable progress across listening, speaking, reading, and writing—not JLPT knowledge alone. A six-month period is the standard horizon for seeing one-stage progress, depending on attendance, preparation, and starting level.
INTENSIVE / PRACTICAL FOUNDATION
Develop core grammar and the ability to manage simple daily conversations. The N4 pathway builds toward higher JLPT readiness, including a longer-term route toward N2.
Move to an equivalent class at another time when the same class is available.
Change when your level develops or when a teacher recommends the next class.
Pause or leave at any time with one month's notice.
Learner absences are normally non-refundable. Statutory cancellation rights and undelivered Borderless lessons are handled under the Enrollment Terms.
Students describe the same change in different ways: more independence, more confidence, and Japanese they can use with real people.
“Borderless became less like studying and more like a weekly part of my life. I became less afraid of mistakes and started building deeper conversations in Japanese.”
“When my sink broke, I made the call in Japanese, explained the problem, and arranged the repair myself.”
“I started as a complete beginner aiming for N5. I never imagined I would be able to speak and read with this much confidence.”
“I could not read hiragana or katakana at first. Now I can read and write basic paragraphs, and I look forward to every class.”
No semester and no long wait. Placement begins with your own goals, followed by a trial and a practical course recommendation.
